Marcus Rashford made waves ahead of the January transfer window by expressing his readiness for a “new challenge.” The forward has not been included in Manchester United’s recent matches. Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee came on as a substitute during Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

Sky Italy reports that AC Milan are internally debating whether to pursue Rashford and could initiate talks this week to explore the possibility. However, Milan would only be able to secure a loan deal and would require Manchester United to cover a significant portion of his wages.
Rashford’s salary remains a major hurdle for Milan in securing any loan deal. The England forward is also on the radar of several other clubs, though Manchester United have yet to receive an official offer. United head coach Ruben Amorim has stated that it is up to Rashford to earn his way back into the first-team picture.
All options appear to be on the table. For United, the ideal scenario would be for Rashford to regain form and deliver strong performances, boosting his value should the club decide to sell him in the summer. Alternatively, while a loan with a wage-sharing arrangement isn’t the preferred choice, United can look to the example of Jadon Sancho, whose loan move last season helped raise his market value.
Juventus are interested in signing Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee.
The Serie A club are looking at a potential loan deal and are managed by Thiago Motta, under whom Zirkzee played at Bologna. However, it seems unlikely that United would entertain a loan move. Zirkzee has been included in every matchday squad under head coach Ruben Amorim, who has made it clear that he wants to keep the forward.
“I want to keep Josh because he gives everything,” Amorim said. “He’s trying in training, but we don’t know — the window is open. We will see what happens. We just need to focus on training and take this for the next game. So it’s just one point. Let’s focus on the performance and take this to the next game.”
Sky Sports News also reports that Zirkzee is eager to stay at United and prove himself in the first team.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes has expressed belief in Zirkzee’s potential, despite a tough period for the 23-year-old. The forward faced criticism from some United fans when he was jeered off during the first half against Newcastle last month.
