Lovell has strengthened its ties to the local community by partnering with Thirsk and Northallerton Golf Club through a new sponsorship deal. The housebuilder, currently developing 42 homes at Saints Green in South Otterington, has donated £500 to help with the club’s operational costs.
Established in 1914 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1997, the club remains a hub for golfers of all levels. Club Manager Matt Creighton welcomed the support:
“We’re delighted to have Lovell as our sponsor for 2025. As a family-friendly club, we’re passionate about introducing more people to golf, and this support will help us grow and engage the community.”
Phil Jones, Lovell’s Head of Land and Partnerships, highlighted the company’s commitment to local initiatives:
“Our focus is not just on building homes but also on building community connections. Thirsk and Northallerton Golf Club is a fantastic partner, offering inclusivity and fostering new talent through initiatives like the R&A Women in Golf Charter. We’re proud to support their efforts.”
This partnership marks another step forward in Lovell’s mission to support local sports and bring communities together.
