Stephen Curry cemented his 3-point legacy on Thursday night, hitting a perfect 8-for-8 from beyond the arc for the first time in his career as the Golden State Warriors cruised past the Philadelphia 76ers with a 139-105 victory in San Francisco.

After struggling with his 3-point shot in the previous two games, going 7-for-24, Curry turned things around, matching his career-best mark for makes without a miss by going 6-for-6 through three quarters and adding two more in the final period. It marked the third time in his career that he had gone 6-for-6 from deep in a game, including a similar feat last April against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The NBA record for 3-pointers without a miss in a game is 9-for-9, originally set by former Warriors player Latrell Sprewell in 2003 and later matched by Ben Gordon twice and Jalen Brunson in 2023.
Jonathan Kuminga contributed 20 points off the bench, while Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Dennis Schroder each scored 15 as the Warriors capitalized on a fatigued 76ers squad, who were playing the second night of a road back-to-back, to cruise to a dominant win.
Moses Moody caught fire from beyond the arc, hitting 4-of-5 3-pointers, while Dennis Schroder connected on 3-of-4, as the Warriors drained 22 treys on 39 attempts (56.4%) in a commanding performance.
Joel Embiid returned to action for the 76ers after sitting out Wednesday’s 113-107 loss to Sacramento, leading his team with 28 points and 14 rebounds. However, the Warriors set the tone early, opening with a 13-4 run fueled by two Schroder triples and Stephen Curry’s first of the night.
Golden State built an 18-point lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back, coasting to their fifth win in 18 games. Moody chipped in 12 points, and Lindy Waters III added 10 off the bench. Draymond Green contributed across the board with six rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks, solidifying the Warriors’ dominant showing.
Paul George supported Joel Embiid with 19 points for the 76ers, who were wrapping up their fifth consecutive road game. Tyrese Maxey filled the stat sheet with 14 points, six assists, four steals, and two blocks, while Guerschon Yabusele added 13 points and Ricky Council IV contributed 12.
